Architect / Project Manager

Barrett Architecture Studio is looking to hire an Architect / Project Manager.

Barrett Architecture Studio is looking to add a talented team member to it’s studio-based architecture firm. We are a small firm located on Highland Ave in Birmingham, Alabama. We engage each one of our clients individually because each project is unique. This is the basis for the project types we work on within our studio. We develop projects that consist of custom lake homes, boutique multi-family, commercial developments, educational, religious, and civic. Our work is based on the relationships we develop with clients, contractors, and our consultants.

We are looking to add someone to our team that is a self-starter and is interested in working in an interactive studio environment. In the horizontal organization of our small firm, every team member has the opportunity to excel during the design process. Revit is the tool at the core our of project delivery, but we enjoy the process of creativity and encourage different media to bring the client’s thoughts to reality.

We are looking for an individual that encompasses the following:

• B.A. in Architecture

• 5-15 years of Experience

• Proficiency in Revit

• Good Communication Skills

• Specification Writing a plus

• Public Bid and Federal Project work a plus

Responsibilities will include:

• Interacting with Clients daily in all aspects of the project

• Managing workflow within the firm

• Interested in the development of other professionals within the firm.
